Revenge of the Nerds is one of my favorite movies.  It taught me about tolerance and acceptance, as Lewis & Gilbert (the main characters in the film) were fighting a society that shunned them simply for being "nerds."

They, along with their fraternity of other nerds, fought for equality and for their dignity.  In the end, they succeed triumphantly with a little help from their fraternity brothers from around the country coming to protect them.  It. was a beautiful ending to the film, where those that have been discriminated against pull together and achieve acceptance from their community.

The lesson Lewis & Gilbert taught the audience "to stand up to bullies" is why I chose to feature them in my American Heroes art series.

Measuring 24"x 20" on Archival Paper, silkscreen, aerosol and acrylic paints were used in the completion of the works.  All are signed by artist Cory Danziger.  Each ship with Certificate of Authenticity.
